Carmine P. Filthy has been sweating it out on the dance floor since 1996. P. Filthy got his start in the club scene as an integrated part of Beat Camp and Revolver in Miami. He moved on to Chicago to throw underground art party Mondo before moving on to a residency at Grammercy. After four years in the city that built House he moved to Brooklyn. In NYC, he curated and Djed all over, including venues & parties like APT, Happy Ending, Even Further, Ruff Club, Crooked Disco, Beauty Bar, B.E.D., element and South Paw.
Carmine P. Filthy is always in search of new aural challenges for the dance floor. He plays relentless tech crunk, body and bass music as well as the deepest italo disco, slickest techno, soul & funk. He’s shared the decks with DJ Fame, Rob Swift, AC Slater, Glimmers, Steve Aoki, DJ Am, Alexander Technique, Eamon Harkin, James F!@#$ing Friedmen, Neurotic Drum Band, Lazaro Casanova, Mark Verbos, Tommie Sunshine, Ewan Pearson, Justin Strauss, JDH and many more.
Carmine also writes about music, releases DJ mixes regularly, founded Low Life Inc.- a Blog promotion company- and created the Coco Machete / Buzzard Gulch Blog compilation series, including ‘It Came From The Blog,’ ‘Attack of the Blog,’ and ‘Evil Blog 2.’ He now lives in New Orleans and loves it.
